Our journey began as founders in Y Combinator's Winter 2022 batch. Surrounded by the brightest minds in technology, we experienced firsthand the power of intense focus, rapid iteration, and a community dedicated to building great things. We saw how the YC model transformed promising ideas into world-changing companies.
However, we also saw a critical gap in the ecosystem. While YC excels at accelerating existing startups, many brilliant founders and transformative AI ideas never even reach the starting line. The initial phase of company creation, validating an idea, building an MVP, and securing the first customers, remains the most challenging and underserved stage.
We founded Attack Capital to solve this problem. We combined the operational intensity of Y Combinator with the strategic resources of a venture fund to create a new kind of organization: an AI venture studio that systematically builds companies from the ground up.

A Thiel Fellow and a graduate of Columbia University, Kaushik is a lifelong builder and entrepreneur. Before founding Attack Capital, he was a founder in Y Combinator's W22 batch, where he developed a deep understanding of what it takes to build and scale a successful technology company. His experience at the interdiv of AI, product development, and go-to-market strategy drives Attack Capital's vision.

With a background in machine learning and software engineering, Saumik leads the technical vision for Attack Capital and its portfolio companies. His expertise in building scalable AI systems and his experience as a YC founder enable our studio to tackle complex technical challenges and build robust, AI-powered products from day one. He is passionate about leveraging AI to create elegant solutions to complex industry problems.
